Student Recruitment

Collins Barrow Toronto is designated to train CA students by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Our primary purpose when hiring students is to recruit individuals who will become the future partners of the firm. Through the student experience, both the firm and the students can work toward building a strong foundation for the future.

We highly value the contributions of every student and know that each is integral to our success. We treat our students in the same way as our CAs: with all of the responsibilities, opportunities and rewards which that entails.

We don’t draw a distinction between what is student work and other work. We give you the opportunities and challenges that you want, with the support to ensure you succeed. We also use the same high standards in evaluating our students and CAs and providing feedback on their performance.

We have a firm-wide commitment to the success of our students. We put a great deal of resources, both time and money, into providing top-flight education, mentor support and career guidance.

The UFE Process

Collins Barrow Toronto provides UFE training through our participation in a multi-firm education consortium. Over and above this program, Collins Barrow Toronto encourages students to pursue their necessary training by providing CKE, Summer School and UFE preparatory courses of the student's choice. Further, Collins Barrow Toronto supports students by offering paid study time in addition to earned vacation pay. All exam days are paid days at Collins Barrow Toronto.

2007 Uniform Final Exam

Collins Barrow Toronto LLP would like to congratulate our newest graduates on their successful completion of the 2007 UFE, the final step on their way to becoming Chartered Accountants.
